Patagonia, Argentina 10 - 22 February 2027

High adventure tour!

Finally we have the itinerary and pricing for our Southern Patagonia Tour 2027!

We'll be travelling 10 – 22 February 2027, which is the perfect time to visit this extraordinary part of the world. February is peak Patagonian summer — long days, settled weather (hopefully), and the landscapes at their absolute best.
As is our custom we take small groups and so Graciela and I are capping the group at just 10 people.
SOME OF THE HIGHLIGHTS...

• We kick off in Buenos Aires with a welcome dinner — an Argentinian barbecue ‘Asado’ at a local home. The perfect start.

• A night inside Los Alerces National Park at a gorgeous hostería right on the lake.

• An authentic estancia stay at Estancia Guenguel in Río Mayo — proper off-the-beaten-track Patagonia.

• Cueva de las Manos — an incredible prehistoric rock art site reached by a guided canyon trek. Truly unforgettable.

• Scenic Route 41, the highest road in all of Patagonia — condors soaring overhead, Mount San Lorenzo in the distance, ancient fossils and basalt dikes at every turn.

• Two full days hiking around El Chaltén, with the iconic Cerro Torre and Fitz Roy ranges as your backdrop. Routes for all fitness levels with options for easier or slightly more challenging walks.

• A full day at Perito Moreno Glacier on a gourmet cruise boat. Icebergs and Glaciers up close!

• And we wrap up with a farewell lunch at a local family's home — guanaco empanadas, a whole lamb on the fire, music, stories, and dancing. The best way to say goodbye to Patagonia.
