Objective Archives - began 2003

The ongoing ‘Objective Archives’ Series interprets collections of found natural objects from places declared as National Parks. Images from this series are intended to be read as narratives and storyboards of time and place.

In the tradition of scientific cataloging, the systematic repetitive aesthetic invites us to detach from an emotional response towards the beautiful landscapes these details represent. This detachment invites the viewer to gaze with an objective perspective that may lead to a questioning rather than a response.
